Food Techs must have the skill set to train and perform all the tasks in the tech center operations & sanitation.
Food tech's roles may include all or some of following tasks:
extrusion operation; running all the support systems for tech center operations which include but not limited to:
dry ingredient mixing and delivery system; all finished product conveying, coating and bagging systems; meat metering and delivery systems; product drying system.
Tech center sanitation; equipment sanitation and light maintenance.
This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support the organization.
Other key skills include:
effective computer skills and ability to operate automated computer controlled systems; must be able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously; be able to work in a team environment and a high mechanical aptitude.
